Templeton Pek – Savages

UK based band, Templeton Pek have released their 6th album, Savages, their first release in 7 years. Described as being punk rock, they perhaps stray a little more in the ‘rock’ genre.
With a superb vocal performance by Neal Mitchell, the album presents itself in a way that makes you want to sing along. Catchy riffs abound, and the pace is fire. Alas, the repetitive nature of the tracks means that it does blend into a singular listen.
The bonus is that if you are going to be repetitive, repeat something enjoyable. Templeton Pek have a sound that is your friend, you want to spend time with it.
Savages is a fun, easy listen that will allow you to dip in and out of at your leisure.
